Ann Conahan Pardee of 14 Orchard Lane, Conyngham passed away
peacefully at her home Tuesday, September 23rd .
Born in Hazleton she was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary Ann
(Farley) Conahan. A graduate of the former St. Gabriel High School, she
earned a B.S. degree from Misericordia University, and studied at the
University of Oslo, Norway.
Ann was an accomplished pianist and enjoyed reading, painting, knitting,
poetry, playing chess and traveling. She was a long-time member of the
Valley Country Club.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, Calvin
Pardee, IV, who died May 11, 2000, and a brother, John G. Conahan.
Ann is survived by her children, Ann Marie Pardee at home, Calvin Pardee,
V, his wife Linda and grandson Calvin Pardee, VI of Melrose, MA, and Ario
Pardee and his wife Tirada, and grandson, Ariovistus, of Maui, Hawaii.
A Mass of Christian Burial was privately celebrated on Saturday,
September, 27 th at St. John Bosco Church, Conyngham. Entombment was
in the Pardee mausoleum at the Vine St. Cemetery, Hazleton.
Memorial donations may be made to charity of choice.
