Arlene T. Zbysheski , 95, of Hazleton entered into her Eternal Rest on June 8, 2026, at the Pavilion at St. Luke Village, following a 2 year battle with vascular dementia. 

Born On July 5, 1930  in Plains, PA, Arlene was the daughter of the late Alex  and Josephine (Leszynski)  Zbysheski.

Arlene was a graduate of Plains High School and Villanova University.  She taught in both elementary and secondary Catholic school settings.  She was also a CNA and worked as a medical receptionist. She was a daily communicant.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Richard and her nephew Richie.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, June12th at 10:00 AM in St. Pius of Pietrelcina Parish, Church of St. Gabriel, Hazleton, with the Rev. Anthony Generose officiating.  Prayers of committal and Interment will follow at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Hazleton.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Joseph B. Conahan Funeral Home.
