Hayden Conrad Jacobs, 26, of Drums passed away Sunday, at the Lehigh Valley Hospital,
Hazleton Campus, following a brief illness. He was a beloved father, son, brother and friend
who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Hayden was born on August 10, 1998, in Hazleton, PA. He was the son of Laura Minnick
Jacobs, Drums and Timothy Jacobs, Berwick. He was a 2017 graduate of the Hazleton Area
High School and attended Wilkes University where he studied entrepreneurship. He was
currently a manager at Wendy’s in Hazleton.
Hayden was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Beverly Hyde, his paternal
grandmother, Ellen Jacobs, and his beloved Aunt Rosalind Boyle.
In addition to his parents, Hayden is survived by his son and best buddy, Brody, Brody’s
mother Katie Platte, his favorite little sister, Avery Rose, maternal grandparents, Edward and
Judie Minnick, paternal grandfather, Harry Jacobs and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In his free time Hayden loved going to amusement parks and Hobby Lobby with his pride
and joy, Brody. Hayden also enjoyed sharing with his son, their love for Star Wars and Disney.
He also enjoyed rocking out on his guitar while playing Ace Frehley or the National Anthem at
various Cougar sporting events, listening to his favorite band KISS, and going to concerts.
Football was his favorite pastime, whether playing or watching those Detroit Lions.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 AM at Holy Roary Church,
Hazleton. Interment will be private.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Church from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM prior to the
Mass.
