Jeanne O'Donnell, 82, a resident of Allentown and a former Hazleton resident, passed away on June 10th.

The daughter of the late William and Philomena O'Donnell, Jeanne graduated from St. Gabriel's High School and attended Misericordia College.

A kind, witty, intelligent, and generous person, Jeanne loved all animals, especially cats, and cared for many feline children during her lifetime.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Louise Doherty, and her brother, William O'Donnell.

Jeanne is survived by her sister-in-law, Carmella "Cammie" O'Donnell; nieces, Colleen O'Donnell and Lisa (Daniel) Nowaczyk; and nephews, William (Jennifer) O'Donnell, Michael (Sarah) O'Donnell, and William Doherty.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 11th, at 10:30 AM at St. Pius of Pietrelcina Parish, Church of St. Gabriel, Hazleton.  Interment and Prayers of Committal will follow at St. Gabriel's Cemetery, Hazleton.
