Judith Marie (Tima) Reichert

Judith Marie Reichert, beloved wife, mother, and devout Catholic, passed away on Saturday, June 17th,
at the age of 74. Born on April 30, 1949, in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Peter and
Mary Tima.
Judy graduated from West Hazleton High School in 1967. During this time she encountered the love of
her life, John Reichert, in 1970. They shared a deep bond and were blessed with nearly 46 years of
marriage. Together, they built a beautiful family and welcomed two cherished children into the world,
John Brian and Ann Margaret.
Judy's devotion to her family knew no bounds. Her son, John, found happiness with his wife Cindy in Oro
Valley, Arizona, and they, too, became parents to John Paul and Madelyn Kate. Her daughter, Ann,
found love with Andrew, and they made their home in Queens, New York.
A devout Catholic, Judy found solace and inspiration in her faith. She was a former member of St. Francis
of Assisi and a current member of Annunciation Parish. Judy's spiritual life was enriched by attending
mass and daily adoration, which held a special place in her heart. She was known for her kind and caring
nature, always keeping her loved ones close in her daily prayers.
Judy was predeceased by her father, Peter, her mother, Mary, and her sister, Sylvia Byorek. She is
survived by her loving husband, John, her devoted son, John Brian, her adoring daughter, Ann Margaret,
and her niece, Karen Forte.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 AM at Annunciation Parish, Church of St.
Gabriel, Hazleton.  The family will receive relative and friends from 9AM to 10 AM at the Church prior to
the Mass. 
Private burial will follow Tuesday at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
In honor of Judy’s memory the family requests donations be made to any organization that resonates
with one’s personal values.
Judy’s legacy of love faith and kindness will forever be cherished and remembered by all those whose
life she touched.
