Thomas Percosky Obituary

Thomas J. Percosky, 79 of West Hazleton, passed away peacefully Sunday morning at
Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton Campus, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Hazleton August 30, 1945, he was the son of the late Thomas and Anna
(Hudock) Percosky and was a lifetime resident of the area.


Tommy was a 1963 graduate of Hazle Township High School. In 1966, he enlisted in
the U.S. Army Reserves and served honorably until his discharge in 1974. In 1980
Tommy married the former Patricia “Patsy” Upshaw. They shared 45 years of love and
happiness. Together they created a warm and welcoming home, hosting countless
gatherings for family and friends, filling their home with love, laughter and cherished
memories.


Prior to retiring in 2022, he was employed by Butler Township as a code enforcement
officer.


Tommy was a member of St. Cyril and Methodius Parish, Church of St. Joseph. He
was a member of the Hazleton Owl’s Club, the Heights Rod and Gun Club, and the
Valley Vets Post 8161.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepdaughter Roxanne
Dura, and a step grandson, Thomas Dura, III, and a step great granddaughter, Kinsley
Dura.


Tommy leaves behind his loving and devoted wife, Patsy, and the following children,
Thomas Percosky and wife JoAnn, Pardeesville, Renee Percosky Kalb, and husband
Adam, Ravensdale, Washington, Stepson Peter Keeler, Las Vegas, Nevada, his
cherished grandchildren, Noah Dzuiba, Zoe Dzuiba, step grandson Ryan Dura and
grand stepchildren, Thomas J. “TJ” Dura IV, Aliya Dura, Ava Dura, and Ryan Dura, Jr.
At the request of Tommy, there will be no services.
